The Chesterfield hotel in Palm Beach adds holiday-inspired sweets to its tea

Festive confections — including pistachio panna cotta — are part of a special holiday-season afternoon tea at The Chesterfield, which annually features seasonally changing tea services.

Through Dec. 30, the holiday-season tea is served from noon to 4 p.m. daily (except Christmas Day) and is available in the hotel’s library, Leopard Lounge & Restaurant and adjacent courtyard.

The spread includes a selection of teas, pastries and sweets, tea sandwiches and golden-raisin scones served with Devonshire cream and strawberry jam.

In addition to the pistachio panna cotta, look for Oreo cheesecake, chocolate mousse cake and cream-cheese cookies among the sweet treats.

Tea sandwiches include roasted chicken salad with almonds, smoked salmon, English cucumber, egg salad, and baked ham and cheese.

The holiday tea at The Chesterfield, 363 Cocoanut Row, is $44 a person, and advance reservations are required.

For $12 more, guests can enjoy a specialty mimosa made with sparkling wine, pomegranate liqueur, cranberry juice and strawberry garnish.

For more information about the holiday afternoon tea or to make required advance reservations, call the hotel at 561-659-5800 or visit chesterfieldpb.com.
