Outback Bowl travel, tickets and event info available

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — There’s still time to join the Penn State Nittany Lions when they face the Arkansas Razorbacks in the Outback Bowl on Jan. 1, 2022.

In addition to traveling to the Outback Bowl with the Official Penn State Bowl Tour, there are additional opportunities for Penn Staters to engage with alumni and fans in Tampa leading up to the game. And if you aren’t traveling, you can connect with fellow Penn Staters, as many of the Alumni Association’s alumni chapters will host watch parties. Full details are below.

For the most updated Alumni Association bowl information, visit alumni.psu.edu/gameday. Learn more about Outback Bowl events on the bowl’s website.

Ybor City is the site of this festive celebration featuring the Outback Bowl New Year’s Eve parade and pep rally. The parade will feature floats and marching bands, including the Blue Band and Arkansas’ school band. The Pep Rally features a battle of the bands and cheerleaders from both universities. The events are free and family friendly. The parade starts at 5:30 p.m. and runs along Seventh Avenue.
