WAIMEA, Hawaii, June 29, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Fine art photographer Gray Malin and Mauna Kea Beach Hotel today announced the next phase of their partnership, which began with the January 2021 debut of Malin’s first dedicated Hawaiʻi hotel series, Gray Malin at the Mauna Kea.

Beginning September 1, 2021 with a perfect nod to an endless summer of memories, Malin’s 32-image series will be brought to life on the pristine, world famous shores of Kaunaʻoa Bay with the first-ever Gray Malin Beach Club. Together, Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and Gray Malin invite guests to step directly into one of the series’ timeless vintage scenes and relax in a one-of-a-kind, dream-worthy setting in paradise.

The Gray Malin Beach Club, which was created specifically for Malin’s fine art series, features custom vintage-style striped umbrellas and beach towels in Mauna Kea’s signature orange hue. Club guests are guaranteed access to the resort’s highly coveted beachfront seating plus they receive a framed photo from the collection. The new experience will be available exclusively to guests booking the new Gray Malin Beach Club package, which is valid for stays of five nights or more in any Beach or Ocean category guest room. Club Package rates begin at $1,174+taxes* per night, and include:

  • Accommodations for two in a Beach or Ocean category room for a minimum of five nights, subject to availability
  • Two reserved beach chairs under a vintage styled umbrella in the Gray Malin Beach Club throughout duration of their stay
  • Choice of one of four framed mini photos (10″ x 13.5″) from the Gray Malin at the Mauna Kea series. Images include “Beach Buggy,” “Fredrico Cheers,” “Afternoon Stroll” and “Surf’s Up.”
  • Two custom Gray Malin X Mauna Kea Beach Hotel tote bags

“I could not be more excited for my photography to come to life at Mauna Kea Beach Hotel. Guests will be able to step into one of my favorite moments that we created for the series and experience a true vintage paradise at the beloved resort,” said Gray Malin. “Although I’ve shot hundreds of organic beach scenes, this will be the first time that the public will be able to enjoy my vision of a perfect beach club. Extending our partnership is a dream come true!”

“We are thrilled to expand our partnership with Gray Malin and provide Mauna Kea Beach Hotel guests with a first-of-its-kind luxury beach club experience,” said Craig Anderson, Vice President of Operations for Mauna Kea Resort. “We received a phenomenal response from both longtime guests and new visitors when the photo series first launched, and we can’t wait for them to experience the new beachfront oasis that Gray so carefully crafted to evoke the timelessness and aloha spirit of Mauna Kea.”

Reservations are now open for stays beginning September 1 and available until December 17, 2021.
