The outdoor patio at Ocean Social at the Eden Roc Miami Beach offers terrific views of the Atlantic.
Dining by the ocean is a time-honored tradition in Miami Beach.
Which is why Eden Roc Miami Beach opened its new restaurant with a great view of the water.
The mid-Beach luxury hotel, designed by Morris Lapidus in 1955, recently opened Ocean Social with executive chef Darren Anklam at the helm.
A wood-fire oven will take on a heavy workload as the menu emphasizes shared plates and signature dishes like whole roasted branzino, poached lobster pizza or Liege Waffles with a pearl sugar batter that takes more than two days to make. There’s also a special chia seed pudding with fresh coconut and served in a half shell.
“I was inspired by the unique ingredients found in Miami while creating this menu,” Anklam said in a statement. “With an abundance of fresh seafood and excellent produce, I wanted to make sure they were the star ingredients of the menu.”
Cocktails will be made under the eye of Uwe Roehricht, director of food and beverage.
The restaurant, which seats 175 guests, has a large indoor space, but trust us: You’re going to want to check out those patio views.
