Disney Unveils Its Revamp of Splash Mountain, Now Tiana’s Bayou Adventure

Disney on Friday unveiled the name and opening 12 months of the very long-awaited Splash Mountain revamp. The update comes about two many years right after Disney to start with fully commited to eliminating the ride’s longtime theming, which took music, figures and landscapes from the 1946 film Track of the South.

The new attraction will center on Disney’s 2009 movie The Princess and the Frog and will be renamed as Tiana’s Bayou Journey. Friends browsing Disneyland Park in California and Magic Kingdom Park in Florida will be ready to take pleasure in the revamped attraction in late 2024.

Walt Disney Imagineering executives Ted Robledo and Charita Carter heaped praise on the new attraction at the event currently, with Carter calling it a “adore letter to New Orleans.”
